It's still cold outside...

Hey lovelies, although spring is just around the corner, it has been windy and rainy since march began so it's looking like a dull spring so far... 

My o.o.t.d is simple, chic and classic which reflects my style because I like to be on-trend yet find it more fashionable when wearing timeless pieces. 

p.s. I love my shoes ... ^_^ 

Transitional Trends: Tribal Prints

Tribal Prints will make a great print for this spring an summer but instead of going for the dark prints, this spring/ summer it's the lighter and vibrant prints that draws you in. 

Prabal Gurung is a designer who works with bright colours (yellow, turquoise, fuschia, ect) onto his prints to make them come to life and most of his designs are available from Net-A-Porter. 

My two favourite pieces are the silk lace blouse with the delicate yellow details along with the printed pencil skirt.  These two pieces work well as an ensemble as well as individual pieces which is what makes me even more drawn to them.

The peplum element on the blouse and the simple feminine silhouette of the skirt are bang of trend, so not only are they making a statement but they are in-keeping with the current trends.

Boucle Jackets! 

The boucle Jacket is one of this winter's best trend and will be around until next season so it is worth investing in especially since it is such a versatile piece. It can be dressed up for a chic look with a figure hugging dress or skirt and it can be dressed down for a street savvy look with a pair of jeans, clean yet crisp shirt to polish off the jacket! 

A Touch of Pink...

This is going to be a quick outfit of the night; I'm mainly focusing on Nudes and Golds with a touch of pink on the lips to tie the whole look together.
