Monochrome is an effortless chic look and works wonderful with a smart twist. The recent monochrome look that I really loved was Beyonce's jumpsuit at the Grammy's 2013; the jumpsuit looked very elegant yet slimming and she tied the whole look with a simple slicked-back low ponytail and black peep-toe sandal heels with a matching clutch topped with minimal jewellery.

Trey Songz and Chris Brown also nailed the monochrome look at this years' Grammy's. Trey's crisp white shirt and black suit works well with his mocha-late complexion and Chris' all white suit works well against his honey complexion.

I don't know what it is about this trend, but it just comes together really nicely and works, even for the fellas!
