The winter blues are in full swing since the snow days are well behind us and most of us are feeling down since it's back to the usual routine but to cheer myself up I managed to catch the final reduction sales and grabbed a few AMAZING bargains...

Today I have an outfit of the day/evening and it's just a simple, comfortable yet chic date night outfit. I just focused on colours and gold hues on jewels, studs & other bits. Enjoy!!

 

Growing My Mane!

Since one of my resolutions this year is to grow may hair a few inches, I will be monitoring my progress with you guys so we can see how far I get. I did start to grow out my hair last year and I must admit, I have seen an improvement in my hair's texture, thickness and growth because I have been very kind and patient with my hair by using the right products, methods and styles to help me on my hair journey!
My hair is naturally curly, very curly so it gets dry, tangled or frizzy very easily.

New Years Resolution - Hello 2013

So  in no particular order, here are my resolutions for 2013

- Cream my hands regularly 

- Focus on work and getting ahead

- Recognise the smaller things in life 

- Focus on healthy eating - Lose 3 to 4 kg 

- Complete an annual savings 

The weekly savings challenge I shall be using to complete a 52 week savings challenge - I came across this from what dawn did in heels on Instagram.  

- Blog at least 3 times a week 

- Buy more classic timeless pieces for my wardrobe 

- Grow my hair - 3 inches minimum 

- Complete my Degree 

I pray that all these wonderful things will happen for me; I have a good mix of vanity, health, well-being and aspirations so I am looking forward to the future which is looking bright at the moment. 
Last year, I was able to complete a few resolutions but the one which meant a lot to me was  being able to visit Portugal for the very first time because I have never been to my beautiful mother-land because I was born in the D.R.Congo and raised there till the age of nine then moved here to the U.K. to be with the rest of my family. 
Portugal was AMAZING! I'm looking forward to going back...

It's Been A While

Hi everyone!

As you've probably noticed, I haven't posted in almost a month, well I was very busy before Christmas & then I fell sick shortly after New Years so I was in hospital, a great way to start the year, NOT and just when things couldn't get worse, my camera broke but I have new camera and laptop...hurray for that!
